The VR DLC pack. It made us feel more alert and energetic. But I guess it's also doing this...? [a beat.] Well, actually, this is a good side-effect too. I think it's what saved Temenos from becoming pavement pizza.

It would be nice if the twist was that no one is actually dead and it was all one big simulation in the end. But before ya get your hopes up, this didn't start happening until I used the item on us, so...
No, I know, and that's why I'm wondering if that's an actual possibility. Like raising your alertness made it easier to break the simulation and point out something's weird, but once the item wears off we're back to square one.
Man... It'd be cool if that was true and I could see through the, uh, fourth wall. But instead I just get to blip out of existence for a couple of seconds.

Yeah. The fact that people keep buying them every week and we don't know who they go to hasn't been helpful either. For all we know people are using them and we don't know it because they aren't speaking up. But after seeing today maybe they will.
Might have to see what the new stuff next week is. It's worth a shot just to see if the effects are a new thing going forward or if it was just this once.
