Unless we suppose the matter of infection really is an 'anomaly' - that perhaps whatever causes the infection occurs and the ship itself would rather have it smothered. But... even then, it occurs with such regularity, you would think that it would find a way to stop it.
[ murdergames don't work that way temenos ] So why only force it on Sunday? I suppose Rosamund's own will could have played a part.
Hmm... I mean, that's assuming the ship forced her to do anythin'. From the way I understand it, the whole heightened anger fucks with their brains big time. But the way they go about it still them to a point, I think? If it wasn't, we'd be stuck with a buncha cookie cutter murders.
In Rosamund's case, I guess... she was just really scared that someone would retaliate and take the decision of how her story ends out of her hands and that's where that feeling took her. Like how Scien decided to end it on his own out of spite, or somethin'? [taps her chin...] The ship must've been aware that it happened though because it decided to spare Bradley, for some reason. Actually, is Bradley infected or was it Nero...? My brain was getting a little melty by then.
Anyway, I wonder if it's, like... Uh. Something like an immune system disease or a cancer? The ship's trying to fix the problem but trying to fix the problem also keeps causing the problem.

[ yeah. unfortunately, sometimes you just remember awful details. ]
I wonder if perhaps the ship simply kills someone if we don't catch them - if they are affected by the emotional influx.

But it's really fuckin' weird, if you ask me. You'd think the ship would want her to stay alive so she could keep killing.

[ hrmmm.... he looks a little more thoughtful. ]
